As I saunter through the sandy beaches watching the sunset, feeling absolutely free from all worldly engagements. I conquer my fears of lonliness and find my solitude. . It’s like I’ve been given a view to my heart, a glimpse of a heart that belongs to a tormented soul. That place we keep so hidden… it contains old scars, new wounds, memories of days gone by and most importantly a realization of past sins. Whispers and shadows of the do’s and don’t of man made laws and expectations…
Yet in this state of solitude which leads to a deeper connection with my Creator, I learn the art of reflection and introspection with just Him as my witness. As the setting sun dipps into the cool ocean and the sky turns into a fiery red and flaming orange, I realize how liberated I feel from the shackles of our society-only because I can bear solitude now!!
